About this house
Lunch-only sushi from Kazuo Morita, who reopened Komatsu Yasuke beside Kanazawa Station in 2017 at age 86; his squid, sliced paper-thin, is the best-known piece. Eighteen seats (a ten-seat counter and three tables) over three lunch seatings; most diners rebook at the counter, so the phone gets what is left.

The house says new guests are welcome (2026), though a companion or referral still helps. Closed Wednesdays and Thursdays; cards accepted; four minutes on foot from JR Kanazawa Station. Never visit just to book. The Tabelog Award 2026 Bronze.
