How the book opens

Reservations only, online on Ikyu or Tabelog, or by phone. How far ahead dates open is not published. The house asks that the person dining makes the booking.

Exceptions and seasons

Lunch Wed-Fri 11:30 and Sat 11:30 (Saturday lunch is omakase); dinner Tue-Fri 18:00 and 20:10, Sat 17:00 and 19:10, all starting together. Closed Sundays and Mondays. Children Saturdays only.

How do I book Sushi Senpachi from abroad?

Sushi Senpachi takes reservations online through Ikyu, which you can use from abroad with your own account and a credit card. If you would rather not, our Tokyo desk can request it for you: ¥12,000 per seat, charged only if the table is secured. A free release-date alert emails you the day before, on the morning of release day (08:00 JST) and about 30 minutes before when the opening time is known; houses that open a little every day come in a weekly summary.
