Book online on ResReserve (linked from the official site) or Tabelog; parties of seven or more, or dates with no seats online, by phone or the site's email form. How far ahead dates open is not published.

Exceptions and seasons

Closed Wednesdays plus irregular days; no lunch on Thursdays. Every seating starts together at 12:00 or 18:00 (doors five minutes before); the course takes about two hours. Taxis are scarce at Urasa and Itsukamachi stations.

How do I book Ryuzushi from abroad?

Ryuzushi takes reservations online through ResReserve and Tabelog, which you can use from abroad with your own account and a credit card. If you would rather not, our Tokyo desk can request it for you: ¥12,000 per seat, charged only if the table is secured. A free release-date alert emails you the day before, on the morning of release day (08:00 JST) and about 30 minutes before when the opening time is known; houses that open a little every day come in a weekly summary.
