How do I book Pause from abroad?
Pause takes reservations by phone in Japanese only. Phone line: 0551-45-8415, Japanese; easiest 10:00–11:00 and 16:00–18:00. Open Sat–Tue: lunch 11:30 / 13:15 seatings (L.O. 13:30), dinner 18:00–19:30 entry; closed Wed, Thu, Fri. From abroad, either call at those hours or have a Japanese speaker call for you. If you would rather not, our Tokyo desk can request it for you: ¥6,000 per seat, charged only if the table is secured. A free release-date alert emails you the day before, on the morning of release day (08:00 JST) and about 30 minutes before when the opening time is known; houses that open a little every day come in a weekly summary.
