How the book opens

Book with the form on the official site until 22:00 the day before; a booking stands only after the restaurant's confirmation email. Same-day bookings by phone. Dinner courses need booking by the day before, courses of ¥8,000+ four days ahead, the Inadani course ten days ahead.

Exceptions and seasons

Lunch 11:30-13:30 last entry (no Monday lunch; Tuesday and Wednesday lunch courses only, booked a business day ahead). Dinner by booking only, 17:30-19:30 last entry. Closed Sundays and 2nd and 4th Mondays, plus irregular days. Twelve seats.

How do I book Muen from abroad?

Muen takes reservations through its own website, which you can use from abroad. If you would rather not, our Tokyo desk can request it for you: ¥12,000 per seat, charged only if the table is secured. A free release-date alert emails you the day before, on the morning of release day (08:00 JST) and about 30 minutes before when the opening time is known; houses that open a little every day come in a weekly summary.
