How to book this house
For udon there are no reservations: queue at the Dotonbori main house (11:30–21:30, last order 21:00; closed Wednesdays except national holidays, and the fourth Tuesday except December), where 138 seats keep the line short outside peak lunch. A table can be reserved only for a course meal such as the udon yosenabe hotpot, by the day before, by phone in Japanese or by fax.

Udon and soba on Dotonbori since 1946; kitsune udon ¥930, nabeyaki udon ¥1,850, oyakodon ¥1,500, tax included. Only course meals such as the udon yosenabe hotpot (¥5,500 per person) can be reserved.
