Two guests minimum. Main-house kaiseki is from ¥31,625 (lunch) or ¥37,950 (dinner) until 31 October 2026, and ¥44,275 (lunch) or ¥50,600 (dinner) from 1 November 2026, including tax and service, prepaid on TableCheck; ages 12 and up. The main house's July–August porridge breakfast opens in monthly batches on TableCheck (August opened on 1 April in 2025); the annex serves porridge year-round. Main house closed Wednesdays, annex Thursdays. Kaiseki dates book one to three months ahead.

When does Hyotei open its reservation book?

How do I book Hyotei from abroad?

Hyotei takes reservations online through TableCheck, which you can use from abroad with your own account and a credit card. If you would rather not, our Tokyo desk can request it for you: ¥6,000 per seat, charged only if the table is secured. A free release-date alert emails you the day before, on the morning of release day (08:00 JST) and about 30 minutes before when the opening time is known; houses that open a little every day come in a weekly summary.
