About this house

Sushi shop eight minutes' walk from Otaru station. From January 2026, lunch omakase nigiri ¥8,800 and dinner course ¥25,000 (tax incl.); evening counter seats are for course or à la carte orders.

How the book opens

Course bookings open one month ahead and close the day before. Call after 14:00 for any date other than the same day. The official site links a separate booking page for guests from overseas.

Exceptions and seasons

Lunch 11:30–14:00; dinner 17:00–22:00 (last order 21:00), Sundays and holidays to 21:00 (last order 20:00). Closed Wednesdays plus one irregular run of consecutive days off each month; may close early when ingredients run out. Seven counter seats and eight table seats; no children of junior-high age or under at the counter.

How do I book Takara Sushi from abroad?

Takara Sushi takes reservations online through a booking platform, which you can use from abroad with your own account and a credit card. If you would rather not, our Tokyo desk can request it for you: ¥12,000 per seat, charged only if the table is secured. A free release-date alert emails you the day before, on the morning of release day (08:00 JST) and about 30 minutes before when the opening time is known; houses that open a little every day come in a weekly summary.
