Sushi counter in a stone warehouse in Hassamu, near JR Kotoni station, run by chef Kenichi Egusa. Lunch nigiri course ¥12,000 or snacks and nigiri ¥18,000; dinner seasonal course ¥24,000 (tax incl.).

No release rule is published. The official site asks first-time and overseas guests to book on TableCheck; regulars can also use the reservation line, Instagram DM or LINE. Remaining seats for the current month are shown on the restaurant's availability page.

Exceptions and seasons

Lunch 12:00–14:30 (Friday to Tuesday, last entry 13:00) and dinner 18:00–21:30 (last entry 19:30). Closed Wednesdays and the first and third Tuesdays. Eight seats. Strong perfume not allowed.

How do I book Sushi Egusa from abroad?

Sushi Egusa takes reservations online through TableCheck, which you can use from abroad with your own account and a credit card. If you would rather not, our Tokyo desk can request it for you: ¥12,000 per seat, charged only if the table is secured. A free release-date alert emails you the day before, on the morning of release day (08:00 JST) and about 30 minutes before when the opening time is known; houses that open a little every day come in a weekly summary.
