How the book opens

The Terrace Hotels' restaurant booking site takes reservations through the end of the month four months ahead; further out, and for parties of one or five or more, call. Non-staying guests can book; Tabelog notes that guests of The Terrace Hotels get priority.

Exceptions and seasons

Dinner 17:00-22:00 (last order 21:00); closed Wednesdays, with extra closures announced on the hotel site. Guests aged elementary-school age and up. Allergy-adjusted menus need a week's notice.

How do I book Ryutan from abroad?

Ryutan takes reservations online through own site, which you can use from abroad with your own account and a credit card. If you would rather not, our Tokyo desk can request it for you: ¥12,000 per seat, charged only if the table is secured. A free release-date alert emails you the day before, on the morning of release day (08:00 JST) and about 30 minutes before when the opening time is known; houses that open a little every day come in a weekly summary.
