Wagyu steak restaurant founded in 1979 near JR Karatsu Station (5 minutes on foot), serving Saga and Imari beef; the counter is known for the owner-chef's talk. The Tabelog Award 2026 Bronze; Steak and Teppanyaki WEST 100 (2025).

Advance bookings through Tabelog online reservations (the official site says 'reserve via Tabelog'), first come; how far ahead is not published. Same-day bookings by phone. Holidays such as Golden Week, summer, Obon and New Year fill early, and counter seats go first.

Exceptions and seasons

Lunch 11:30-15:00 (last order 14:30) and dinner 18:00-22:00 (last order 20:30); closed Mondays and Tuesdays (official site). 30 seats: 10 at the counter and five rooms with tables for four.

How do I book Caravan from abroad?

Caravan takes reservations online through Tabelog, which you can use from abroad with your own account and a credit card.
