No reservations

No dine-in reservation system is published — queue at the door (10:30–, closed Wed/Thu); takeaway saba-zushi can be pre-ordered so you skip the wait.

What to expect: Meiji-era Kyo-zushi house opposite Yasaka Shrine (saba-zushi, hako-zushi, winter mushi-zushi). 12–20 seats; queues of about an hour on weekends. Reopened after its longest closure since 1945 (official notice).
