How the book opens
No release rule is published. Tabelog: reservation only, no same-day bookings, one or two groups a day, no solo diners; first-time bookings need a card deposit (not when booked through a hotel concierge or AutoReserve). A 2024 Tabelog review says regulars book about six months ahead.
Exceptions and seasons
Dinner only, from 18:00 (last entry 21:00). Irregular closures — Tabelog lists 3, 4, 7, 12, 18, 25 Oct and 1–3, 9, 15, 23 Nov 2026. 14 seats: 6 at the counter and private rooms for 4–8 (room fee ¥6,050). Prices are indicative, as listed on Tabelog (October 2026).

Azabujuban Fukuda takes reservations by phone in Japanese only. Phone line: 03-6453-7256 (Tabelog; Japanese; reception hours not published). From abroad, either call at those hours or have a Japanese speaker call for you. If you would rather not, our Tokyo desk can request it for you: ¥12,000 per seat, charged only if the table is secured. A free release-date alert emails you the day before, on the morning of release day (08:00 JST) and about 30 minutes before when the opening time is known; houses that open a little every day come in a weekly summary.
